We’ve had our eye on BusbyMarou for quite a while now. Since they first supported Pete Murray at the Empire Theatre here in Toowoomba in 2008.
BusbyMarou recorded their debut EP (The Blue Road) with acclaimed producer Anthony Lycenko and Pete Murray at his home studio in northern NSW in late 2007. They also worked very hard at the Woodford Folk Festival 09/10, playing every day of the festival and gaining many new fans through their exciting live presence.
With song writing influences from Crowded House and personal experiences, Thomas has a distinctly Australian way of sharing his stories.
Jeremy, a proud Torres Strait Islander from Murray Island, has rare musical talent. He is a gifted musician, and can play just about anything - but it is his natural ability on the guitar (and ukelele!) that will mesmerise you.
