The Earth Unplugged vision is for an environmental sustainability themed concert, featuring all acoustic music.

We will engage people of all ages by providing a calm, relaxed atmosphere that will be created by quality acoustic music. We are certain that this is the ideal frame of mind for people to feel comfortable with new ideas and become inspired to take immediate action.

Earth Unplugged, and the carbon positive concept, are a statement for the direction we think Toowoomba should be moving in, and providing a model that major festivals should aspire to.

We believe that it is important that we focus on what we can do, rather than underlining the faults of others. Earth Unplugged is our attempt at positive, powerful action to engage our community whilst achieving beneficial, and measurable, environmental outcomes.

We are adamant that it is our duty to engage our patrons, rather than alienate them, by offering an enjoyable experience of sustainable lifestyle choices. We do not believe in patronising people as a method of encouragement and we have chosen to hold a festival to communicate our message because a festival atmosphere suits the way we wish to encourage our patrons.
