Welcome to Earth Unplugged

Earth Unplugged is now over, and what a success it was! Thanks to the roughly 500 punters that made their way to Queens Park for the festival under blue skies. There was a great vibe and the music surpassed all expectations with superb performances from all eight acts. The highlight was definitely the hour long set from Brisbane based Busby Marou, who proved their excellent reputation for enthusiastic live performance is well deserved.

Thanks also to all our wonderful volunteers, food vendors, local environment group stall holders, and sponsors for making the day run so smoothly. There have been strong calls for the festival to become an annual event - a great reflection on the effort and attention to detail employed on the first event.

We'd really appreciate any feedback through the contact us section of the website. We are currently finalising our carbon auditing process and will soon be publicising our carbon output and the amount of carbon we intend to offset and will also provide details of the method of offsetting. You can view the Earth Unplugged programme here on the website under the Gallery tab. Photos and videos from the day will also be published to the Gallery page as soon as possible.

Media coverage from the event spanned TV, radio and print media. Details of coverage has been linked under the Media tab.

The Earth Unplugged vision is for an environmental sustainability themed concert, featuring all acoustic music.

How will we be carbon positive?

Assuming 'carbon neutral' means that 100% of carbon used is offset, our aim is to reach between 150- 200% of carbon emissions being offset.
